Frequently asked questions
Answers to common player questions about Tibia Claims accounts, privacy, characters, claim boards, contributions, reports, and Discord.
Account and characters
7 answers
Does Tibia Claims share my email address?
Discord may provide your email address to Tibia Claims' authentication provider, Supabase, when you sign in. Email-based authentication provides a reliable way to secure and recover accounts. It also helps Tibia Claims keep your website and Discord identity connected so account features work across both.
Your email address is not public and is not shown to administrators, other players, or unrelated third parties. See the Privacy Policy for complete details.
Ordinary players can also use Tibia Claims through Discord on native servers without signing in on the website first. That Discord-only flow does not ask for an email address. If the player later signs in on the website with the same Discord identity, Tibia Claims connects the login to the existing account instead of creating a second one.
Do I need an account to view claims?
No. Public claim boards can be viewed without signing in. Personal features such as characters, claims, favourites, and notifications need a private Tibia Claims account. On a native server, the bot creates that account automatically when an ordinary player starts a supported Discord command.
How do I create an account?
Use Sign in with Discord on the website, or run /register_character start in a native server that uses Tibia Claims. The bot can create a Discord-only account automatically, without opening the website. If you later sign in on the website with the same Discord account, your existing characters, claims, favourites, and history remain connected. Review the current Terms and Privacy Policy when the website prompts you, and never share a login link or verification code.
Why must I register a Tibia character?
Character verification shows that you control the character used for a claim. Tibia Claims gives you a temporary code to place in the character's public Tibia.com comment. Tibia Claims depends on TibiaData for public character information, so verification may take up to 15 minutes to complete.
How long does a verification code last?
The current verification challenge lasts 60 minutes. If it expires, start or resume verification to receive the current instructions.
What happens if I rename or transfer a character?
Use the available character update or verification flow. Tibia Claims may temporarily limit character actions when public ownership information changes. Follow the private instructions shown to your account; do not post verification codes in Discord.
How do I delete my account?
If you use a Discord-only account, run /delete_account and confirm the private prompt. If you have connected the account to the website, open Account, find Delete account, review the effects, and complete the required recent-sign-in confirmation there. Account deletion is permanent. The Privacy Policy explains which minimized historical records may remain.
Boards and claims

Why is a server or command missing?
Each community chooses which Tibia Claims features it uses. Some servers are view-only, private Test access is entitlement-based, and some Discord commands are visible only to eligible players. If you believe access is missing, ask your server community team.
What do the board availability labels mean?
Available now means there is no active claim. Starting soon appears beside it when the next claim begins within 30 minutes. Claimed now means a claim is active, and Ending soon appears during its final 30 minutes. Status unknown means Tibia Claims cannot safely match or confirm availability yet; Not supported means that entry does not receive reservation status from the connected source.
What is the difference between a native and view-only board?
Native boards use Tibia Claims as the claim authority, so eligible players can create and manage claims through the website and Discord. Nevia (Read Only) displays claims managed by an external community system. Tibia Claims does not create, edit, or judge those external claims. A separate native Nevia board, when available, uses its own rules, claims and favourites; the two boards are not synchronized.
What is the difference between a scheduled claim and Claim right now?
A scheduled claim starts at a future time you choose. Claim right now uses the next allowed server-time increment and follows the server's right-now rules. The website and bot show which options are currently available.
What is a linked hunting ground?
A linked hunting ground lets one native claim cover a chosen combination of related physical grounds. Select at least two child grounds. Only the children shown on the accepted claim are occupied, and conflicts are checked against those exact places.
Can I edit or cancel my claim?
On supported servers, you can edit a future or active claim when the rules allow it, cancel one claim, or cancel all your active and future claims. Tibia Claims shows the result and any relevant effect on your available claim time.
Why did my claim fail?
Common reasons include another claim at the same hunting ground, overlap with one of your own claims, an unavailable start time, insufficient remaining allowance, a temporary restriction, an unmet level gate, or a changed claim or rule state. Read the message shown by the website or bot and refresh before trying again.
What are favourites?
Favourites move selected hunting grounds to an easier-to-find section for your account on that server. On supported servers, you may also enable a private availability alert for a favourite.
Are website and Discord claims separate?
No. On a native Tibia Claims server they use the same account, characters, rules, and claims. A claim made on one will appear on the other.
Contributions and reports

What hunting information can I contribute?
Supported native spawn pages accept reviewed Hunt Analyzer and Input Analyzer evidence from genuine hunts. Every submission uses a verified character, resistance values, and one full-window screenshot. Team hunts also use a Party Hunt Analyzer; teammate Input Analyzer evidence is optional. Accepted results enter anonymous public aggregates rather than exposing the contributor's identity.
Use hunts of at least one hour, save every Analyzer report in a local text file before opening the form, and keep that copy until submission succeeds.
How do team contribution points work?
The main contributor normally receives one eligible point. Supplying complete Input Analyzer evidence and resistances for at least one teammate can raise the contributor's intended award to two points total. An opted-in teammate can receive one point only when that member has complete evidence and their imported character name uniquely matches an eligible verified account. Acceptance and the existing reward limits still apply.
What happens when I report a claim?
A report does not cancel a claim. It is saved for eligible reviewers and remains visible in your private report history. On a ticket-enabled server, an eligible reporter who belongs to the connected Discord guild receives access to a private discussion channel with the reviewers allowed to handle that report. General feedback does not open a ticket channel.
Closing a ticket records the outcome and queues the available text transcript for archival before the Discord channel is deleted. Attachments are not archived. The ticket data notice explains access and retention.

Where can I get help?
For help with Tibia Claims itself, join the official Tibia Claims Discord server. For a server-specific question, use the Discord server connected to that claim board. Never post a password, login link, verification code, token, private audit message, or session information.
