Contributor recognition notice
Your choice to display contributor recognition beside your character on claim boards.
An optional public display
Show contributor recognition is an optional setting in Account info → Community rewards. It is off by default. When recognition is available on a claim board and you enable this setting, visitors may see your contributor rank, selected unlocked badge or supported cosmetic beside your character name. This publicly associates that character with your contributor recognition. You can use the service and earn contribution points without enabling it.
This notice supplements the published Privacy Policy. It does not replace that policy or the Terms, and does not require existing users to accept the Terms again. Publishing this notice does not itself enable recognition on any board.
What stays private
Recognition does not add your account ID, Discord identity, point totals, private contribution evidence, reviewer notes or reward history to board responses. Eligibility and character ownership are checked by the backend. Private Test boards keep their existing access restrictions.
On Nevia (Read Only), this is display within TibiaClaims only. It does not send your contribution records to the external Nevia bot, grant Discord roles, change claims or provide pre-claim access. Public highscores and Hall participation are separate features, not enabled by this setting.
Changing your choice
You can turn Show contributor recognition off at any time in Account info → Community rewards. Subsequent board responses omit your recognition; a page already open may show its previous response until refreshed. Turning it off does not remove earned points or your private progression. Information someone has already seen or copied cannot be recalled.
Recognition uses existing account preferences and verified-character associations, without introducing a separate public identity directory or extending contribution retention. Account deletion follows the existing Privacy Policy. For questions or data requests, use the contact options in that policy.
